Missoula Food Bank (MFB): The MFB provides both perishable and non-perishable goods, nutritious food to local area low income/needy families and shut-ins. The MFB offers emergency food assistance to all individuals and families who have a need. Be part of a progressive approach to ending hunger both locally and nationally!
EACH WEEK in the Blessed Trinity+Spirit of Christ Bulletin Outreach page particular needs are listed. Parishioners may bring these items (or any other Food items) to either Blessed Trinity or Spirit of Christ and place them in the baskets provided at the church entrances. Blessed Trinity serves the Missoula Food Bank and Spirit of Christ serves the Lolo branch of the Food Bank.
VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED AT THE FOOD BANK:
• To prepare and deliver monthly food baskets to homebound, low income seniors and WIC program graduates
• To pick up and deliver food donated by our parishioners to MFB on a regular basis
• To donate time to stock shelves, sorting food and bagging groceries at MFB
• To assist counselors/program coordinators with various duties such as interviewing and data entry.
