THE SACRAMENT OF THE SICK (also known as the Sacrament of Anointing the Sick) is celebrated at the time of sickness, mental stress, prior to surgery and/or hospitalization. The sacrament may be celebrated periodically during an extended illness.
The Sacrament is celebrated with family, friends, and/or parishioners present; or with the parish community at Daily Mass or when necessary during Sunday Mass. The sacrament may also be celebrated following Mass on Sunday.

Always call the parish office prior to hospitalization or surgery so that the Sacrament of the Annointing of the Sick may be celebrated.
