Reconciliation + Sacrament of Penance

May the grace of the Holy Spirit fill your heart with light, that you may confess your sins with loving trust and come to know that God is merciful
(The Rite of Penance #69).
The mercy and love of God is expansive, all inclusive and dynamic.  God has reconciled the world to himself in Christ who made his dwelling among us, bearing our human weakness and sins, calling us out of darkness into light.  Jesus began his work on earth by preaching repentance and saying:  “Turn away from sin and believe the Gospel.” Forgiveness and reconciliation is at the heart of Jesus’ ministry and is central to the mission of the Church.  Sin and death are not the last words.  Forgiveness and life are!

The Rite for Personal Confession is celebrated every Saturday at 4:00 pm at Blessed Trinity Catholic Community in the Reconciliation Chapel, located in the main worship space.  The Sacrament is also celebrated by appointment. Please call Father Hislop during regular office hours.
